Shannon's Stats
Like every expectant mother I’ve been trying to get as much done before “Junior” comes. Shannon’s 3 year old checkup fell under that list. Here are her statsWeight: 31 pounds (25%)
HEALTHY!
And I was afraid I would have 6ft girl one day…let’s just hope Junior doesn’t follow the same pattern as his runt of a big sister.

The Second Time Around
Now, I’m just tired. Sciatic pain comes and I can no longer keep up with the pace of my walking group. I FEEL the heat and am not looking forward to delivering in August and then waiting 6 weeks before I can get into a pool. BUT, all in all I have been very blessed and can’t wait to see Junior (where as with Shannon I was scared to death that they would allow me to take a baby home).

White Wedding
A friend of the family’s had a wedding reception at our house this past weekend. It seemed like we prepped the house and yard FOREVER! We didn’t even have to do the food prep, but after helping decorating and setting up, I was exhausted. With all that was going on Shannon announced that she didn’t want to get married. Fine with me! Once the cake started to be assembled Shannon went into obsession mode and decided that she did want to get married so she could have a BIG cake. Everyone was on Shannon watch to make sure she didn’t add flowers or swipe some frosting. When Angela arrived Shannon pestered her until she finally cut the cake and all was right in the world.

Breakfast of Champions!
I was searching for some motivation to get Shannon to stay dry throughout the night. Recognizing that she is my daughter, I offered a choice of cocoa chrispies or hot chocolate for breakfast. It has worked like a charm!
My apologies for the lack of posts...it's been crazy lately and you'll soon see once I blog our most recent events!

Happy Fathers Day...to the two greatest dad's I know. I would love to live in a place where every child had a father like you...I think it would be a lot like Heaven.
