Even if you don't know her, check out Shannon Hall's blog and read her entry about her delivery. It's NUTS!

1 MONTH
I can't believe Adam is 1 month old. It's hard to remember life before him. Look at those cheeks! I must be feeding him heavy cream. As one friend stated, "I'm the BYU creamery."

The Cake That Wasn't Meant To Be
Sometimes you follow the directions and it just doesn't work out. Mom - sorry your birthday cake wasn't quite like the picture.

We're Alive
Sorry for the delay in posts. Every time I headed towards the computer, I would trip over a box of something that needed to be unpacked. Since most of our stuff was in storage for so long, I’d forgotten half of what we own. It was partially like Christmas, ohh I like this, partially like a bad garage sale, eww why do we have this?
We’ve been really busy, but I can hardly remember what we’ve done.

Shannon's Big Sister Party (instead of a Welcome Home Baby)
Adam kept us busy and even delayed our exit from TN. First he develope and ugly rash. Then, the day before we were to leave, I noticed a weepy right eye and had to wait a few days until we could see our doctor who told us it was conjunctivitis.
Steve and Shannon's 1st day of school. Shannon was in a BAD mood (staying up too late and no naps) but Steve looks like he's having a similar day.
Our attempt at a family picture for Shannon's school. In typical Shannon fashion, she crossed her eyes in all pictures and looks "special".
Lindsey saved my sanity by staying with us for a week and forcing me to unpack and organize. She helped Shannon transition from an only child.

And Baby Makes 4
Here’s what happened. It all started with THE DREAM…
Reality – Wednesday Steve, Shannon, Lindsey and I headed to Hamilton Place to run errands before my doctor’s appointment, also near the mall. We stopped at Chick-fil-a for lunch and had a fried chicken sandwich and french fries. We then dropped Shannon and Lindsey off at the play center and Steve and I headed to my OB appointment. Once at the appointment I insisted they check me. When the midwife student checked me she had a funny look on her face and went to get her supervisor. They concluded I was at a 5-6, 90% and could head to the hospital and have a baby by 6pm, but that I should eat something first (oh yeah, I'd already eaten fried chix).
Because I had to stay on my left side shortly after the redose, my left received the majority of the redose and was numb for hours afterwards, which allowed Steve the chance to change the first 2 meconium diapers. My mother brought us dinner, so I didn’t miss a meal.
(I love Steve's face as he changes the 1st diaper)We feel very blessed to have a healthy baby boy. The Lord helped him come at a time when all the moving was done and it was the first chance we could focus on being a family. With one hour until discharge we turned in the social security/birth certificate papers identify our boy as

Still Pregnant
I've had to "eat crow" this week as I declared that I had no intention of being at church this Sunday since I would be delivering by Wednesday. Well, I had to teach my Primary class today and "Junior" seems to be getting more and more comfortable. Looks like my induction date of Aug 10th might be his actual birthday. I don't think he has anymore room to grow?

Here's an ugly face Adam makes, usually when he's taking care of buisness.
Please note what the onsie states...it's sums up our life right now.
